A good student, the teacher is relaxed and the work is twice as good, and then he follows the mediocre; a bad student, the teacher is diligent and the work is half, and then he follows and complains. A good questioner is like attacking a hard wood, first the easy part, then the hard part, and when it takes a long time, they talk to each other to understand; a bad questioner is the opposite. A good questioner is like striking a bell, if you strike it with a small sound, it will ring softly, and if you strike it with a big sound, it will ring loudly, wait until it is calm, and then it will sound its full sound; a bad questioner is the opposite. These are all ways to advance learning.

From the day before the end of the world

The rules: The emperor uses "Zou Yu" as the rules; the princes use "Li Shou" as the rules; the ministers use "Cai Ping" as the rules; and the scholars use "Cai Fan" as the rules. "Zou Yu" means that the music officials are prepared, "Li Shou" means that the music meets at the right time, "Cai Ping" means that the music follows the law, and "Cai Fan" means that the music does not fail to perform its duties. Therefore, the emperor uses the preparation of officials as the rules; the princes use the right time to meet the emperor as the rules; the ministers use the law as the rules; and the scholars use the not failing to perform their duties as the rules. Therefore, if you are clear about your intentions and do not make mistakes, you will achieve success and establish your virtue. If you establish your virtue, there will be no disasters of violence and rebellion. Success means peace. Therefore, it is said that archery is a way to observe great virtue.

I like you more than anyone else

The host personally invites the guests to the door, and the guests follow him. As for the door, the host bows to the guests and the door, and the guests enter by themselves; the distinction between noble and humble is made. Three bows to the steps, three concessions to the guests, bowing to the door, offering, paying, and refusing are complicated. The door is simple. As for the guests ascending to receive, sitting to offer, standing to drink. No toasts and descending; the distinction between high and low is made.

The Ten Commandments

The reason for communicating with the gods and spirits should not be the same as the meaning of comfort. The beauty of wine and liquor, the preference for dark wine and bright water, is the origin of valuing the five flavors. The beauty of embroidery and the preference for sparse cloth are the beginning of women's work. The comfort of the bamboo mat and the preference for the quilt are the light. The big soup is not harmonious, it is the value of its quality. The big jade is not polished, it is the beauty of its quality. The beauty of the red lacquer carved table and the plain carriage are the respect for its simplicity and the value of its quality. The reason for communicating with the gods and spirits should not be the same as the meaning of comfort. Only in this way can it be appropriate. The odd shapes of the tripod and the even shapes of the dishes and the yin and yang are the meaning of yin and yang. The yellow eyes are the supreme respect of the depressed qi. Yellow means the middle; eyes are the clear and bright qi. It means to pour in the middle and be clear and bright outside. To offer sacrifice to the heaven, sweep the ground and offer sacrifice there, it is the quality. The beauty of pickled meat and salt, and the popularity of salt, are because they are produced by nature. The use of a knife and the value of a phoenix knife are because of their righteousness.
